STEK Window Film Packages
Not all tint is the same. The film you choose decides how much heat it blocks, how it holds its color, and how cool your cabin actually stays. STEK builds three automotive lines and we install all three, so you can match the film to your budget and how you use the car. Every series blocks 99% of UV, carries a STEK limited lifetime warranty, and won't fade or change color over time.
Nano Carbon Film
Our entry point, and a strong one. 100% nano carbon film with a clean look and great visibility. Because it's carbon and not metal, it won't interfere with your phone, GPS, or radio. Carbon holds its color, so there's no fading. A smart choice for a daily driver who wants real protection without stepping up to ceramic.

Ceramic Film
A big jump in heat rejection. STEK's ceramic tier blocks up to 88% of infrared heat while cutting glare and keeping your interior cooler under harsh sun. Non-metallic, so it won't block any signals, with added scratch resistance. This is the film for drivers who feel the heat and want their AC to stop fighting the sun on every summer commute.

STEK's flagship, and the highest protection on the market. The first window film built with graphene-infused ceramic, blocking up to 96% of infrared heat for the coolest possible cabin and the lowest strain on your AC. It carries a subtle hue and is backed for life. If you want the best film STEK makes, this is it.

Why Murrieta Drivers Choose Window Tinting
Southern California sun is relentless, and our inland valleys run hotter than the coast. Good window film does more than darken the glass. Here's what it actually does for your car and the people in it.
Heat Rejection
Most of the heat you feel through glass is infrared radiation, and that's exactly what STEK's carbon, ceramic, and graphene ceramic films are built to block. The result is a noticeably cooler cabin, less strain on your AC, and a more comfortable drive in any season. Step up the tier and you block more of it.
UV Protection
Every STEK film tier blocks 99% of UV-A and UV-B rays. That protects your skin on long commutes and protects your interior, slowing the dashboard cracking, seat fading, and trim deterioration that years of sun exposure cause. It's the same logic as sunscreen, working every time you're in the car.
Glare Reduction
Anyone who drives the 15 toward Temecula at sunset knows how brutal low sun can be. Window film cuts eye-straining glare, which reduces fatigue and makes harsh light easier to handle, without affecting your view in normal driving conditions.
Interior Preservation
Heat and UV are the two biggest reasons interiors age. Leather cracks, vinyl fades, and dash surfaces warp, all of it sped up by untreated glass. Film acts as a barrier that helps your interior stay looking newer for longer, which matters when it's time to sell or trade.
Privacy and Security
Tinting the rear glass adds real privacy when the car is parked and makes it harder to see what's inside, a practical deterrent against the smash-and-grab break-ins that have become more common across Southwest Riverside County.
Tinted Right, Every Time
Pick the film, and our team handles the rest, from a clean install to metered, documented results you can trust.
California Window Tint Law, Explained
Tint law trips up more drivers than almost anything else, so here's the plain version for California in 2026. The state measures tint by VLT, or Visible Light Transmission, the percentage of light that gets through the glass and film together. A higher VLT number means a lighter tint.
Must let at least 70% of light through, measured after the film goes on. Factory glass already blocks some light on its own, so almost any dark film up front will put you below the legal line. The way around it is a clear or near-clear ceramic film, which still blocks 99% of UV and rejects real heat without darkening the glass.
No darkness limit on passenger vehicles. You can go as dark as you want back there, including limo-dark, which is why a common setup is light ceramic up front and a darker shade in the rear.
Only a non-reflective strip across the top few inches, down to the AS-1 line. A clear, non-reflective UV film can cover the full windshield as long as it keeps the glass above 70% VLT.
No red, amber, or blue tint, and no mirrored or metallic film on the side windows. If you tint the rear window dark, your car needs working side mirrors on both sides, which every modern vehicle already has.
We meter every install and give you the documentation showing your exact VLT, so if you're ever asked about it during a stop, you have the paperwork in hand. If a shop can't hand you that, you're guessing, and a fix-it ticket plus a removal and redo costs far more than doing it right the first time.

Frequently Asked Questions
Front side windows have to let at least 70% of light through, measured with the film on the glass. Rear side windows and the back window can be any darkness on passenger vehicles. The windshield only allows a non-reflective strip across the top. We meter every install so you know your exact VLT before you drive off.
Carbon film (STEK ACTIONseries) gives you a clean look, color stability, and solid UV and heat protection at a friendly price. Ceramic films (SMARTseries and NEXseries) reject far more infrared heat, so the cabin stays cooler and your AC works less. All of them block 99% of UV. If your main goal is beating the heat, ceramic is worth the step up.
Yes. Every STEK film we install carries a STEK limited lifetime manufacturer warranty against fading, bubbling, cracking, and peeling. Keep your documentation and it's covered for as long as you own the vehicle.
No. STEK's carbon and ceramic films are non-metallic, so they don't interfere with cell signal, GPS, satellite radio, or the sensors and cameras built into modern cars.
Most vehicles are done the same day. The exact time depends on the car and how many windows you're tinting. We'll give you a realistic window when you book.
We can apply a non-reflective strip across the top, which is legal in California, and in many cases a clear ceramic film across the full windshield that rejects heat and UV while staying above the 70% VLT limit. We'll meter it to keep you legal.
Pair Your Tint With Full Protection
Window film is one piece of keeping a car looking new. Many of our customers add a ceramic coating to lock in the gloss and make washing easier, or paint protection film to guard against rock chips and road debris. We can handle all of it in one place.
